Personal trainer

What does your work look like?

• Providing personal training and motivating clients to achieve their goals based on a professional training program.
• Providing group training and organizing events.
• Inspiring our customers and binding them to Gympact for the long term.

Who are you?

• You hold diplomas such as: NASM, Fitvak, AALO, Overload, Chivo.
• You are up to date with the latest developments regarding training, nutrition, supplements, recovery, and lifestyle.
• You have at least 1 year of work experience in sports coaching.
• You are an example to our customers. You are fit and healthy.
• You are a team player and have strong communication skills.
• You are flexible regarding working hours (evenings & weekends).
• You reside within a radius of 25 km of Gympact, Vogelzand 27 in Volendam.

The Role

You are Gympact; you are the face of the club before, during, and after the workout. You give members an unforgettable experience and assist them with any questions they ask at the front desk. You show new members around, help (new) members sign up for or modify their memberships, get members excited about everything related to Gympact, and ensure the club always looks perfect. Additionally, it is your job to ensure that members enjoy working out with us. You regularly chat with members and ensure they remain motivated to achieve or surpass their fitness goals! Radiating positive energy to the members is therefore a must!

What are you going to do?

• You welcome the members. Through your enthusiasm and hospitality, everyone feels at home, and you ensure that members enjoy coming back.
• You give tours to potential members
• You ensure that new members are correctly registered and provided with the correct information and access tag.
• You inform and enthuse potential members about the subscriptions and answer all their questions.
• You have an eye for detail and ensure that the club always looks neat.
• You answer the phone and manage the mailboxes; naturally, we will help you with this.

• You have experience in the hospitality industry.
• You radiate hospitality and are always ready to help everyone, always with a smile on your face.
• You have a commercial mindset and are customer-oriented.
• You are service-oriented and a social hub.
• You have a can-do mentality and you tackle things proactively.
• You are a true team player who ensures that the club is taken to the next level together with the team.
• You are available for at least 5 hours

Stagiaire Fitness/ Personal training

We are an SBB location, which means that we train young talent and give them the opportunity to further develop with us and prepare for their future role in the labor market.

Courses

We have room for 2 interns every year. We are particularly looking for students from study programs such as ALO, AALO, SM&O, Sport & Exercise, Coordinator Sport, Exercise & Health, or students following the FitVak A or FitVak B program.

What will you learn with us?

• The ins and outs of a gym, everything that comes with it, what it is like to work in a gym
• Welcoming members, registering members, helping members with their requests
• Giving a warm-up, workout, cool-down
• Creating a personal training schedule (periodization)
• How do you keep a gym in order in terms of hygiene and cleanliness?
• Organizing an event for the community; think of a DJ in the gym or the Expeditie Gympact Outdoor Event, a community event for the members.
• How you can contribute to our social media

What do we expect from you?

• A curious attitude, you ask many questions and show that you want to be able to do everything independently.
• Lots of positive energy!!
• A smile on your face, proactively introducing yourself to the members, and striking up a spontaneous conversation.



Social Media Intern

Are you a social media fanatic? At Gympact, we are looking for a fun intern to strengthen our team starting in September!

What are you going to do?

• Managing social media accounts and setting up advertisements.
• Creating and editing various content (together with a professional photographer).
• Being able to express your creativity by coming up with concepts and sharing ideas.
• Free membership.
• Working with incredibly fun colleagues!
